SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Safety has always been a key feature of NASSAU’s products, and in NASSAU 9000 we have developed the safest door ever produced. NASSAU 9000 meets all requirements under EN 13 241-1. The notifying enterprise is the Danish Technological Institute (No. 1235).

Electrically operated doors have also been approved under the EU Machinery Directive, which guarantees full compliance with international safety regulations and provides reassurance for both users and companies.

HIGH SAFETY AS STANDARD

Finger protection between sections image

Finger protection between sections

The convex and concave section tops and bottoms fit perfectly together, preventing fingers or other objects from becoming trapped between the sections.

Cable break protection image

Cable break protection*

With cable break protection fitted, the door is prevented from falling to the ground if either or both of the door’s lifting wires should break, ensuring operational reliability and continuous safety for daily use.

Spring break protection image

Spring break protection

With reliable spring break protection fitted, the door is effectively prevented from falling dangerously to the ground if the door’s torsion spring unexpectedly breaks during operation.

Internal wire run image

Internal wire run

The durable door lifting cable is safely fed inside the rail assembly itself, thereby effectively minimizing the overall risk of accidental contact between the moving cable and people, equipment, or surrounding objects.

Finger protection disks on door rollers image

Finger protection disks on door rollers*

Fitting a reliable finger protection disk in front of the door rollers in the guide rail effectively prevents serious injuries caused by fingers getting accidentally trapped between the moving door rollers and the sturdy guide rail.

Safety photo cells image

Safety photo cells

On electrically operated doors, advanced safety photocells are fitted where required, to automatically detect and immediately stop the door if there is any obstacle present in the door opening during the closing process.

Bottom safety edge switch image

Bottom safety edge switch

All doors with electric drives with impulse operation (ED420/ED420A) are equipped with a pneumatic safety edge switch in the bottom section. If the safety switch registers the slightest contact with people or objects during closing, the door will stop and immediately return to the open position, offering maximum security and confidence.
